Honley-based Heneghan Architecture has announced significant business growth and the addition of its second employee, Ciara Duffin, an architectural technician.
A graduate of Leeds Beckett University, Ciara brings a wealth of fresh ideas and a deep passion for architecture, having previously worked for an architectural practice in Leeds.
Ciara’s love for architecture was nurtured in the Lake District, where her grandparents live. Her early fascination with the region’s unique stone structures and textures was sparked by long walks with her parents and grandparents, often leading to engaging discussions about architecture.
“I’ve always been fascinated by the link between the inside and outside of a building. My travels, especially through Greece and Spain, have opened my eyes to different architectural styles and the way they interact with their surroundings,” said Ciara. “I’m excited to bring this perspective to Heneghan Architecture.”
As the firm continues to grow, it is committed to enhancing its services by offering a specialised interior design component.
Dan Heneghan, the firm’s director, emphasised the importance of integrating interior design as a complementary service alongside their strong partnerships with established interior designers.
“Ciara will collaborate with them to enhance the overall vision of our projects,” he said. “We believe in employing good people with solid principles, and Ciara embodies this ethos perfectly, bringing something special to our team.”
Before joining Heneghan Architecture, Ciara honed her skills at an architectural practice in Leeds. She is now further developing her expertise in Revit, Sketchup, surveys and creating feasibility statements for various projects, including those within green belt areas.
With Ciara on board, Heneghan Architecture looks forward to expanding its capabilities and continuing its commitment to innovative and thoughtful design solutions.
