Cannabis plants with a street value of around £350,000 have been seized in four planned raids in Huddersfield.
The Huddersfield Neighbourhood Policing Team has thanked communities for their ‘critical’ support in helping officers mount four raids resulting in hundreds of plants being seized.
During the past two weeks NPT officers executed warrants at Tanfield Road, Birkby Hall Road, Newsome Road and Blacker Road which resulted in eight arrests being made and 576 plants being recovered with an estimated value of £350,000.
Officers began to plan the raids from late September after developing intelligence received about drugs production.
Enquires into the seizures remain ongoing and four men have now been charged with drugs offences, said police.
