After a distinguished career spanning over 25 years in education, Huddersfield-based Tracey Thornton, a former head teacher and recognised leader in school improvement and leadership development, has launched a new coaching and consultancy business.
With a proven track record in empowering middle and senior leaders, Tracey is extending her expertise beyond the educational sector, including the growing need in the community – menopause coaching.
Drawing from 29 years of leadership experience, Tracey brings a unique and holistic perspective to her new venture, Tracey Thornton Coaching and Consultancy.
Her services focus on leadership development while also specialising in menopause coaching, a service born from personal experience.
After navigating her own challenges during menopause, she saw a significant gap in support services locally and decided to address this through her new practice.
“I’m dedicated to guiding you through one of the most significant transitions in a woman’s life,” said Tracey.
“Whether you are an individual navigating menopause or perimenopause yourself, or a business leader striving to support your employees, my mission is to provide the tools, knowledge and support you need to thrive.”
Beyond menopause coaching, Tracey is also dedicated to fostering a coaching culture in schools, recognising the immense benefits this brings to staff development and leadership effectiveness.
“My programme enables staff to immerse themselves in the coaching experience, develop essential coaching skills, and refine these abilities with my expert guidance,” she added.
Her coaching and consultancy services include coaching training, bespoke 1:1 leadership coaching, group coaching and team development.
In addition to her extensive background in education, Tracey is a qualified yoga teacher, which complements her professional work by offering a holistic approach to well-being.
This blend of leadership development, personal growth and wellness allows her to offer clients a well-rounded coaching experience. She is planning to run events which will include this blend of activities.
Her new coaching and consultancy business, Tracey Thornton Coaching and Consultancy will provide services in school leadership development, leadership coaching, and bespoke menopause coaching programmes aimed at supporting women and businesses alike.
The launch of this service comes at a time when awareness around menopause is growing, and employers are increasingly recognising the need for comprehensive support for employees.
Tracey is passionate about providing these services both for individuals seeking guidance and businesses and educational establishments looking to create supportive workplace environments.
