Becky Bracey, volunteer services lead at Third Sector Leaders in Kirklees, said: “We are delighted that the Big Help Out is back to showcase some fantastic ways to volunteer in our local community.

“People often tell us they don’t have time to help; but volunteering has changed and there are now so many ways to volunteer that are flexible and still make a difference.

“We know that volunteering has lots of benefits for the volunteer too, including making new connections, improving wellbeing and boosting your CV.

“We hope the Big Help Out will inspire more people to get involved in volunteering in Kirklees.”
