Woolly hats, hoodies, parkas and thermals were needed on Tuesday night as Golcar United beat Penistone Church 1-0 at the Skye Direct Stadium.
A pre-match snow storm meant the kick-off had to be delayed while volunteers cleared lines on the pitch to allow the game to go ahead.
The hard work was all worthwhile as Buddy Cox struck the only goal to bag the three points.
