Leeds United legend Eddie Gray will be the special guest at an event in Kirkheaton which will raise money for Huddersfield Street Kitchen.
The event ‘Eddie Gray – Up Close and Personal’ will be held at Kirkheaton Conservative Club and will be hosted by well-known personality Pete Emmett.
Eddie was part of the great Leeds United side under Don Revie in the 1960s and 1970s. He also managed the club between 1982 and 1985.
The event will support Huddersfield Street Kitchen which provides food for homeless people and those in need. Money will be raised through a raffle and an auction.
The event is on Friday October 22 from 7.30pm, and organiser Damon Scholes said: “Funds will go towards Huddersfield Street Kitchen and it should be a great evening.
“The idea is to put these events on in local pubs and clubs to support them. They have had a tough time in this area after the pandemic. People are still staying away from locals and so small events like this will help them get back on their feet.”
Tickets cost £17.50 and include supper and can be bought from the Conservative Club or by calling 07862 272025.
