Join Honley Business Association (HBA) in celebrating Easter with a fun-filled egg hunt.

As Easter approaches, HBA invites everyone to join the egg-citing fundraiser for Honley Junior, Infant and Nursery School.

Pupils have been invited to take part in an Easter egg decoration competition, encouraging them to come up with unique designs and colours.

A panel of Easter egg experts will select the most wonderful designs for display around the village as part of the Honley Easter Egg Hunt.

Rachel Valli, chairperson of HBA and owner of Redress Boutique, said: “Students can show their creativity and help a good cause.

“I am thrilled to see the community come together to support our local school. We hope this event will be a huge success.”

The event runs from Saturday March 23 to Saturday April 6 offering fun for families of all ages during the Easter holiday.

You can buy clue sheets for £1 at Redress Boutique, Wired Coffee and Cake, ChainReaxtion and Zebra Jewellery and Gifts.

Nearly 80 Honley businesses have donated Easter eggs, giving everyone a chance to win. Follow the clues, explore the village, and hunt for the Easter eggs hidden in various business locations. Your egg-hunting skills may just lead you to a delightful surprise.

The primary goal of the Easter egg-stravaganza is to raise funds for Honley Junior, Infant and Nursery School.

Headteacher Linda Goodall said: “We are currently developing our outdoor play and learning spaces and the money raised will really support our plans.

“Joining this event means having fun and helping education in our community.”

All completed clue sheets handed in during the Easter Egg Hunt enter a prize draw. With nearly 80 businesses donating an Easter egg, there are plenty of chances to win.

Laura Hanson, HBA committee member, added: “It’s a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our community ties.”
