Date nights have got a whole lot cosier for winter with dining igloos, Love Island-style fire pits, beer towers and cocktail trees at The Venue Bar & Kitchen Huddersfield.

The Venue, at Storthes Hall Park in Kirkburton, offers a unique and unforgettable dining experience in a spectacular woodland setting.

It even boasts its own nine-hole mini golf course!

And The Venue isn’t just for romantic nights out for couples – it’s children-friendly too with a Kids Eat Free offer and a cinema room.

Facilities and commercial manager Steve Moore said: “Our aim was to enhance our woodland location by introducing facilities that would create a memorable experience.

“The dining igloos are great for dining under the stars and come complete with comfy blankets, cushions and heating. It really is an unforgettable dining experience.”

Available for parties of up to six, the igloos are offered on a first-come-first-served basis or can be reserved by messaging The Venue Bar & Kitchen on Facebook.

The Love Island-style fire pits are great for a romantic wintry evening and the mini-golf course consists of nine holes over the grassy area at the back of The Venue Bar and Kitchen.

And the Venue is pleased to announce its Bonfire Night on Sunday November 7.

There will be a funfair from 4pm, along with fire breathers and stilt walkers before the bonfire is lit at 6pm with an amazing fireworks display featuring music from Frozen, The Greatest Showman, Wicked and Hairspray from 7.30pm.

Admission is £6 for adults, children/students £4 and a family ticket (two adults and two children) £15. Under-10s are free.

The Storthes Hall Park bus leaves from outside of the University of Huddersfield or there is free parking available.
