Marsden-based Dark Woods Coffee is offering grants to the local community and winter-themed applications are being sought.
The Dark Woods Coffee Community Small Grants Programme is in its final funding stage of 2024.
The grants programme is aimed at charities, not-for-profit organisations and community groups in the local area, which are working for the benefit of the local community and the environment. Grants will be between £100 and £500.
Dark Woods have tried to make the application process, grant conditions and criteria as straightforward and accessible as they can.
As the nights draw in and the temperature drops Dark Woods are on the lookout for winter-themed applications, something that benefits the community in these colder months, with winter grants allocated and paid at the start of December.
The Community Small Grants Programme runs year on year and in 2024, Dark Woods Coffee has proudly supported the following organisations: Huddersfield Community BJJ CIC, Holme Valley Sharing Memories Group, Colne Valley Tree Society, Castle Hill School, Nields Junior & Infant School at Slaithwaite, Focal Community Centre, St Bartholomew’s community café, Netherton Community Group, Holme Valley Mountain Rescue, Kam’s Corner CIC and Linthwaite Church.
