Huddersfield-based West Yorkshire Hawks turned in probably their best performance of the season defeating Manchester Kings 102-58 in NBL Division 3.

It was a dominant display in attack and defence and the Hawks were 53-30 ahead by half-time.

Hawks head coach Danny Byrne praised his players after back-to-back wins and said: “It was great to see the whole team step up today.

“It was a fully rounded performance with everyone contributing. This helped us deliver probably the most consistent 40 minutes of the season so far.”

The points were shared around with Charles Andrews top-scoring with 18 points, Ethan Rose and Chris Sibbett with 16 each, Dave Walsh (14), Jamie Cawtheray (11) and Jermayne Laing with 10.

The Hawks are at home at the University of Huddersfield again on Saturday December 14 against Stockport Falcons (6.30pm) and hope for a big crowd to celebrate what has been a landmark year for the club.

Tickets for the game can be purchased at tktp.as/EXDBOF, with the Hawks aiming to close the year in front of their largest-ever crowd.
