People can take their dog on a train trip through the stunning Huddersfield countryside to raise money for the RSPCA.
Pets will be allowed on board a special train at Whistlestop Valley Light Railway (formerly Kirklees Light Railway) at Clayton West on Saturday, October 5.
The event is called Canine Carriages and people need to be there for 2.30pm with the train setting off at 3.10pm for the 50 minute journey with a mini stop halfway.
Tickets are £11.95 per person but with limited availability so people need to book early as they are liable to sell out quickly.
Huddersfield and Halifax RSPCA fundraising manager Lauren Moore said: “This is our second time hosting Canine Carriages with our friends at Whistlestop Valley.
“The train journey is around 50 mins with a little stop for ice cream and snacks, plus there’s lots of activities and sights to see at Whistlestop Valley before the journey so you can definitely make an afternoon of it.”

The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford and District Branch is a self-funding branch of the national RSPCA, responsible for raising money locally to support its animal welfare work.
This year the branch has rehomed more than 250 animals and its main aim is to rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned and abused animals and find them loving, permanent homes. The branch relies on public donations to keep running.
