Comedian Brennan Reece is the headline act when The Comedy Cellar returns to the Lawrence Batley Theatre.

Brennan will top the bill of mirth makers at the theatre on Thursday July 25, previewing material from his forthcoming Edinburgh Festival show ‘Me Me Me.’

As seen on the likes of Live At The Apollo, Roast Battle and The Stand-Up Sketch Show, he’s a former English Comedian Of The Year and Edinburgh Festival award nominee.

He was described as “a powerfully entertaining, unstoppable force” in a five star review from comedy website Chortle.

Opening the night is the wonderfully eccentric Simon Donald. Simon is a razor sharp Geordie wit and co-founder of the world famous ‘Viz’ comic, the notorious sales phenomenon of the late 20th century. He is as funny with a microphone in his hand as he was with a pencil.

Also appearing are the brazenly funny Sarah JH and Liverpudlian whirlwind Peter Edge. Compering the show is Metro Award winner Anthony J. Brown.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £14, available via the box office phone line 01484 430528 and online at www.thelbt.org.
