Bonfire Night in Huddersfield is set to go with a bang – and here’s a list of what’s happening across the town.

Thursday 3rd November – The Venue, Storthes Hall Park, Kirkburton, HD8 OWA
Bonfire with fireworks to a Disney soundtrack. Funfair rides, stalls and live music. Gates open 5pm, bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks from 7.30pm. Adults £6, children/students £4. To buy tickets in advance click here
Friday 4th November – Birchencliffe Sport & Social Club
Clubhouse open from 6pm, fire lit 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm. Ticket only event. Adults £6, children aged 5-12 £4 with under 5s £2. Ticket only and available HERE
Friday 4th November – The Sun Inn, Flockton
Bonfire food from 5pm, fire lit at 6.30pm and fireworks at 8pm. Pay in advance – £2 per person. Pay on the day – £4 per person
Friday 4th November – Honley Cricket Club
Spooktacular Halloween party and firework display from 6pm – fancy dress and hot food.
Friday 4th November – Beaumont Arms, Kirkheaton
Mischief night with fireworks at 9pm. Also have face painting, apple bobbing, fancy dress and more from 4pm. Adults £4, children under 16 £2.
Friday 4th November – Nortonthorpe Sports Club
From 6pm with fireworks at 6.30pm. £2 adults, £1 children.
Saturday 5th November – Golcar United, Longfield Avenue, HD7 4AZ
Fireworks extravaganza with The Weavers Shed. Gates open 4pm with fairground rides, food, drink & live music. £5 adults, £3 children. Tickets are available to buy in advance. Click here
Saturday 5th November – Sands Recreational Ground, Holmfirth
Fairground from 6pm. Bonfire lit 6.30pm & firework display 7pm. Adults £7, children under 14 £3.
Saturday 5th November – Lascelles Hall Cricket Club
Cricket Club bonfire with fireworks. 6pm onwards, £2 donation per person on entry.
Saturday 5th November – Royal Oak, Linthwaite
Lighting 7pm with fireworks at 7.30pm. £2.50 per person with free entry for under 5s.
Saturday 5th November – Slaithwaite Cricket Club
Fire lit at 6.30pm, fireworks at 7pm. £1 adults, £2 children & £5 for family of four.
Saturday 5th November – Huddersfield & District Round Table at Crosland Hill
Opposite the Sands House, Crosland Hill, HD4 7AE. Gates open 5.30pm, bonfire lit 6.30pm and fireworks begin 7.15pm. Adults £5, children £2.
Saturday 5th November – Will O’Nats, Blackmoorfoot Road, Holmfirth
Fairground rides from 3pm, stalls, outdoor BBQ from 6pm, bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks 7.45pm. Wristband only event – Adults £3 and children £1.50. The event is supporting the Holme Valley Mountain Rescue.
Saturday 5th November – Kirkheaton Parish Centre, Church Lane, Kirkheaton, HD5 0BH
Bonfire and fireworks. 6.30pm. Adults £5, Children in education £2, pre-schoolers – free. Tickets available on the gate.
Saturday 5th November – Marsden FC
Firework display. Bar open from 5pm, funfair, live music, children’s magician in the clubhouse at 5.30pm, child friendly fireworks at 6pm, main firework display at 7pm.
Saturday 5th November – Clayton West Scout bonfire
6pm with firework display. £2 adults, £1 children or £5 for family (2 adults, 2 children). Kids get free bangle glowstick. Raffle with fab prizes, food and drinks available. No alcohol or sparklers please!
Saturday 5th November – Marsh United Bowling Club, Eldon Road, Marsh, HD1 4ND
Fireworks only. From 6pm with fireworks lit at 7pm. The event will work on a first come first serve basis with Members taking priority with access to the club house and surrounding areas. The bar will be available for refreshments and snacks with the kitchen being open for Pie & Peas and Hot Dogs. There is no entry fee to the event, however they ask if you’re not going to use the facilities for refreshments then a small donation is made upon arrival at the gate.
Sunday 6th November – Scholes Cricket Club
6pm fireworks. Tickets available at the bar. Members £4 adults, £2 children, £10 family of four with prices on the day at £6 adults, £3 children & £15 family of four.
Sunday 6th November – Storthes Hall Park, Stafflex Arena, HD8 0WA
Gates open 4.30pm, bonfire 5.30pm & fireworks 6.30pm. Adults £3, OAP £1 and children free.
Sunday 6th November – The Dalton Pub, Rawthorpe Lane, HD5 9PB
4pm onwards – annual firework display with funfair rides, hot food, face painting and more.
