Huddersfield’s largest gym BigBox at Waterloo has announced a partnership with newly-promoted Emley AFC.
As the football club counts down to its return to the Northern Premier League, it has announced that BigBox will sponsor the Player of the Month Award, voted for by fans.
Alex Plant, sales manager at BigBox Huddersfield, said the new £4 million gym was proving a big success with a fast growing membership.
“This success not only highlights the quality and appeal of what we offer but also underscores our dedication to creating a community where people of all ages and abilities can come together to exercise, relax and have fun.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see our vision come to life and to witness the positive impact we’re making on our members’ lives.”
On its partnership with Emley AFC, Alex said: “This collaboration is all about promoting health and wellness within the community by supporting local sports initiatives.
“By teaming up with Emley AFC, we’re offering our members and the local community more opportunities to engage in physical activities, enjoy the benefits of team sports, and strengthen the bond between BigBox Huddersfield and the wider community.

Emley’s players and coaching staff will be able to use the facilities at BigBox Huddersfield and the club’s vice-chairman Marcus Pound said: “They have a magnificent reputation.
“The fact our players and coaches have been able to use their top notch machines and apparatus means we will be improving the fitness of our players going into a tough season after promotion.
“This partnership again signals our intent to continue to move forward on this journey and to keep improving. It shows our commitment to give manager Richard Tracey the best possible chance to succeed with a team on the pitch.”
Emley fans will be able to vote online for BigBox Player of the Month after the last fixture of each month of the season with an award presented at the first home game at the start of the following month.
BigBox also has a partnership with Huddersfield Giants which allows its players to use the facilities too.
