The weather once again devastated the league programme with a couple of clubs renting all weather pitches to get games on.

Berry Brow rented the all-weather pitch at Moor End Academy in order to play their West Riding Challenge Cup tie against West Yorkshire League Premier Division side Beeston St Anthonys with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.

However, despite a brace from Paul Pyke, Berry Brow went out of the cup losing 4-2.

In the Sheffield Association Challenge Cup Holmbridge were knocked out at the quarter-final stage losing 1-0 at Derbyshire-based AFC Dronfield from Division 1 of the Sheffield County Senior League.

In the West Riding Challenge Trophy Holme Valley Academicals gave up home advantage to play their tie against Ripponden-based Ryburn United Reserves from the Yorkshire Amateur League Division 1.

In an end-to-end encounter and, despite goals from Simranpal Punia and two from Tega Uwanogho, the Accies went out losing 5-3.

Liam Knight scored for Linthwaite Athletic Reserves as they also went out of the Trophy losing 2-1 to Salts from Division 2 of the West Yorkshire League.

Slaithwaite United caused a cup upset by knocking Newsome out of the Barlow Cup with goals from Ashley Beardsall (two), Daniel Middleton, James Edwards and Dominik Moorhouse in a 5-0 win.

Jamal Simpson and Dante Newell scored for Deighton as they drew their tie 2-2 with Shepley whose scorers were Scott Sykes and Elliott George. Deighton went through to the next round winning the penalty shoot-out 8-7.

In the only Groom Cup tie to escape the weather a Suleman Rafiq hat-trick was not enough as Fenton United went out to Honley 13-3 with Joe Burnley scoring five for Honley.

Jamal Bent (four), Luke McLoughlin and Ephraim Isekolemo scored as Berry Brow A beat Brook Motors 6-0 in the Richardson Cup.

In the Gee Cup Berry Brow B beat Mount 2-1 with goals from Adam Fell and Daniel Moulson with Cameron Bradley Carter scoring for Mount.

 James Carter and Ben Dewhirst scored as Honley went out of the cup losing 4-2 to Wooldale Wanderers. Lewis Crank (three), Steven Mitchell and Levi Brown both with two scored as Kirkheaton Rovers went through to the next round beating Brook Motors Development 7-0.

In the only game played in Division 1 Britannia Sports entertained Dalton Dynamos in a high-scoring game.

Britannia had Jimmy Meadows, Jake Waterson (three) and Daniel Wilkins on the scoresheet. Dalton had goals from James McDonagh (two), Jordan McCafferty-Smith (two), Kelvin White, Matthew Bryce-Trainor, Darius Matheson and Jordan McMinn to give them an 8-5 win!

Kirkheaton Rovers moved up to third place in Division 2 with goals from Gavin Armitage (two), Jonathan Askin and Robert Holroyd in a 4-2 win over Brook Motors. Jack Turner and Phil Rigby scored for Brooks.

Courtney Allert and Chris Melotte scored as Almondbury Woolpack beat Moorside 2-1.

In the Reserves section Division 1, Cumberworth Reserves with goals from Jonathan McKinley (two), Thomas Snowball (two) and Harry Stubbs beat Britannia Sports 5-4. Chris Fowler, Michael Cook, Ethan Pearson and Jack Taylor scored for Britannia.

Division 2 leaders Holmbridge travelled to second-placed Linthwaite Athletic A and lost 2-0 to goals from Danny Scott and Jack Wadsworth.

Aaron Kelly and Joshua Roberts scored as Slaithwaite United beat Cumberworth A 2-1.
