George Doyle scored his fourth goal of the season as Golcar United made it three wins from three in a perfect start to the new campaign.
The Weavers came from behind to secure a 2-1 win at Campion and are second in the NCEL Premier Division and the only club with a 100% record.
Golcar went behind just 40 seconds into the game when Lloyd Smith stunned the visitors. However it only took 10 minutes for Golcar to get back on terms.
Doyle pounced for his fourth goal in all competitions this season, as he fired into the corner leaving the Campion goalkeeper with no chance.
Just after the half hour mark, Golcar took the lead. Malakai Phillip played a perfectly weighted through ball to Alfie Wilkinson, who rounded the stranded goalkeeper and tapped into an empty net.
Into the second half, Golcar looked to add to their tally but Callum Petch fired into the side netting just after the re-start.
Campion put Golcar under pressure but resilient defending and a brilliant goal line clearance from substitute Jake Kelly denied the hosts.
Golcar did have a couple more chances for Slater Barnes and Phillip but were happy to settle for a 2-1 victory.
Golcar are back in action at the Skye Direct Stadium on Friday August 16 (7.45) when they take on Thackley in the FA Cup Preliminary Round.
