Honley-based digital marketers Social Progress took on a mouthwatering task – promoting this weekend’s Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival.
The award-winning company is delighted to be supporting the festival, which takes place on September 16 and 17, with social media, photography and video updates.
The much-anticipated festival, which is once again being sponsored by Vocation Brewery, will be found around the centre of Holmfirth.
It will showcase some of the finest food suppliers, eateries and entertainers in and around the local area with an exciting programme planned.
Managing director of Social Progress, Janet Bebb, said: “Nowadays, digital marketing and online communication are essential tools to help the growth of events such as this and it’s great that the team behind Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival have recognised this.
“We are thrilled to be invited to support such a key event for the hospitality and events industry. Our team are particularly excited to attend and feel the buzz around an industry that was hit hard by Covid over the past few years and shout about the amazing success now happening!”
The festival will have something for all tastes, including bars from Vocation Brewery and The Nook Brewhouse, coffee from Danelaw Coffee, gin from Gin Muddlers and many more.
There’s also plenty of food to sample from Greek produce from Food4Festivals and Troy Greek Street Food, bao buns from Super Bao Street Kitchen and a whole host of other food vendors selling traditional wares, with gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options too.
Festival treasurer Nick Davies said: “We are delighted to work in partnership with Social Progress. They are an innovative and highly trustworthy social media partner.
“Their aim for ‘quality posting on social media over quantity’ fits beautifully with our Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival values and ethos, plus the advantage is they have vast expertise and local knowledge to share, with a desire to understand our objectives and the wider hospitality industry.
“I am particularly impressed with how they have tailored the delivery of the service to complement our wishes.”
In pursuit of building a real buzz in the lead-up to the event, Holmfirth Food & Drink Festival and Vocation Brewery have joined forces to launch an exciting competition on social media, giving the public the chance to win a fantastic selection of goodies from a handful of this year’s festival exhibitors.
The lucky winner will be presented with generous prizes from the likes of Vocation Brewery, Danelaw Coffee, Yorkshire Dama Cheese, Daddy Cool’s Chilli Sauce, Hey Sweetheart Sweetshop, Castle Hill Gin and Gangplank Spirits & Preserves.
