The countdown is on to the new Super League season and the Huddersfield Giants Supporters’ Association is hosting its annual Fans’ Forum on Friday January 13. All Giants fans are welcome.
There’s a real buzz around the club with more than 3,500 season cards having been sold – what’s expected to be a 20% increase on last season.
The club has also sold all its matchday and match ball sponsorships for the season, the first time they’ve done that ahead of kick-off in the Super League era.
With nine new signings and the 2023 campaign due to start away at St Helens on February 17, there’s much optimism about the team’s prospects this season.
Fans at the forum will have the chance to ask questions of a panel which includes Giants chairman Keith Hellawell, former Giants captain Kevin Brown, RFL match official Robert Hicks and RL journalist Matthew Shaw.
The event is due to start at 7.30pm in the upstairs bar at the Laund Hill complex and is FREE for current HGSA members and £1 for everyone else.
As well as the forum, there will be a raffle with many donated prizes available.
New memberships and renewals are available on the door. Memberships are still just £5 a year and funds raised by the HGSA go towards helping to fund the academy and scholarship systems at the Giants.
Details of the event can be found at 2023 Huddersfield Giants Fans Forum
