A fundraiser is being held for a Huddersfield hostel which takes homeless people off the streets and helps them get their lives back together.
The Friends of Clare House are staging a music night to raise money for Clare House which offers a safe place and support for homeless people with addictions or mental health issues.
The Friends of Clare House Christmas Fundraiser takes place on Friday December 16 (5pm-2am) at the Northern Quarter in Huddersfield town centre and tickets cost £5.
All money raised will go directly to benefit those who are living at Clare House and will be spent on meaningful activities to enhance their lives and help their process of recovery and independence.
Performers on stage will include Pat Fulgoni, Penny, Evan Forse, Ducklin Curlz, Blazin Fyah, Nobody People and John Bussey.
DJs include DJ City Skank (Powah); Paul Axis, of Valv-a-Tron Soundsystem; DJ Turnip; and Dylan Quent.
Organiser Andy Dyson said: “Clare House does some fantastic work in helping people when they need it most and Christmas is the perfect time to show we care and to make real a difference to people’s lives.
“It promises to be a great night out and we want to raise as much money as possible. I’d also like to thank all the artists and performers for giving up their time.”
Tickets are available HERE or on the door.
