Marsden FC beat Thornesians 5-1 last weekend with a five-star performance as seven new players made their debut for the club.
New player Alex Thomas scored the opener in the 26th minute to give the home side the lead. It stayed at 1-0 up to the break.
Marsden ran riot in the second half with another debutant Tom Brook scoring twice in seven minutes to make it 3-0.
John Conheeney added a fourth in the 71st minute with Alex Thomas making it 5-0 four minutes later. The visitors bagged a late consolation.
