Linthwaite Athletic extended their lead at the top of the Huddersfield District League Premier Division with goals from Kelan Gorski (two) and Oliver Taylor (two) in a 4-0 win over second-placed Honley.

Harry Prosser and Sanraj Uppal scored for Netherton in their 2-0 win over Moorside which moved them up to third place.

Callum Holmes, Sebastian Wright and Alexander Winstanley scored for Diggle in their 3-2 win over Shepley. Damian Sykes and Andrew Sylvester scored for Shepley.

Kirkheaton Rovers beat Deighton 3-2 with goals from Jonathan Askin, Lewis Crank and Joe Fox with Jamal Simpson and Musa Camara scoring for Deighton.

Newsome Reserves recorded their first win of the season to move off the bottom of the division with a 2-0 win over Britannia Sports with goals from Eddie Hamlett and Lee Turner.

Grange Moor Saints stay in top spot in Division 1 beating third placed Berry Brow Reserves 4-1 with goals from Lewis Simon-Jones, Kieron Mayall and Connor Steele (two). Dean Siddiq scored for the Brow.

Harrison Peckover and Joshua Heavyside scored for AFC Volunteers in their 2-1 win over Almondbury Woolpack whose goal was scored by Callum Palmer.

Cumberworth are up to fifth following their 2-0 win over Deighton Reserves with goals from Callum Mitchell and Joshua Kilner.

Linthwaite Athletic Reserves stay in second place following their 4-3 win over Holme Valley Academicals with goals from John Keeling (two) and Conor Woodruff (two). Eddie Hinchliffe (two) and Richie Eales scored for the Accies.

Meltham Athletic continued in their recent run of good form beating Wooldale Wanderers 4-3 with goals from Sam Dearnley, Rob Bailey, Gareth Brewins and Louis Carmody. Reece Dickinson, Anthony Hutt and Adam Summerscales scored for Wooldale.

 

 

Division 2 leaders Holmbridge Reserves suffered a surprise 3-0 defeat at home to Brighouse Athletic. Perry Connor (two) and Ben Whiteley scored the goals as Brighouse move up to third place.

St Columba’s slipped down to sixth place losing 3-1 at home to Huddersfield Laund Hill. Nick Reaks (two) and Joe Hardcastle scored for Laund Hill with Ben Murray scoring for the Saints. Anbua Kator and Stephen Njenga scored for Berry Brow A in their 2-0 win over Holmfirth Town.

Hade Edge and Netherton Reserves played out an entertaining 4-4 draw with Luke Taylor (three) and Benjamin Balmforth scoring for Netherton. Lewis Barden, Cameron Young, Cameron Malinowski and Jamie Vince scored for Hade Edge.

Meltham Athletic Reserves remain rooted to the bottom of the division having been narrowly beaten by Britannia Sports Reserves 4-3. Jack Ellis-Pownall, Larsson Horier and Taylor McLachlan-Wilson scored for Meltham with Nick Spurr, Luke Crane, Tom Bellwood and Makaully-Leo Smith-Wike scoring for Britannia.

Kirkheaton Rovers Reserves moved up to second place in Division 3 following their 2-0 win at Wooldale Wanderers Reserves with goals from McKenzie Dillon and Michael Calvert.

Johnathan Krishnapillal, Josh Wrigley and joe Murphy scored for AFC Lindley in their 3-3 draw with Slaithwaite United. Ryan Patterson, James English and Bradley Howe scored for Slawit.

Linthwaite Athletic A lost to Berry Brow B 7-2 and Ellis Pejica and Morgan Taylor scored for Linfit. Ryan Atherton, Ryan Walton, Hayden Sykes, Martin Charles (two), Ohireme Remison and Daniel Garton scored for Berry Brow.

In Division 4 Almondbury Woolpack Reserves picked up a useful point when they drew with Netherton A 2-2 with goals for the Woolpack coming from Daniel Bradley and Ryan Kennedy. Felipe Petry and Brandon Webster scored for Netherton.

John Lodge hit a hat-trick as Brook Motors overwhelmed Holme Valley Academicals Reserves 10-0. Deighton A maintained their 100% record at the top of the division beating second placed Honley Reserves 2-1. Simon Douglas and Aiden Jackson scored for Deighton and Tom Booth scored for Honley.

Gian-Mario Busia scored four as Grange Moor Saints beat Diggle Reserves 7-1. Ismail Marai Imbuqui, Ben Lee and Matthew Kilner completed the scoring for Grange Moor.

Skelmanthorpe A are in third place after their 4-1 win over neighbours Scissett Reserves. Layton Ripley scored the consolation goal for Scissett.

It’s tight at the top of Division 5 as Savile United retained their 100% record and top spot following their 7-1 win at Fenton United with twin strikers Eesaa Gokalia scoring five and Isam Safeer scoring two.

East Bowling also kept their 100% record and second place with a 7-1 win over Hade Edge Development with an Aron Heywood Senior hat-trick and goals from Aron Heywood Junior, Blaine Lambert and Krishan Patel (two).

Fothergill and Whittles are in third place following their 5-0 win over Mount Reserves with goals from Sam Holt (two), Ryan Davies, Toby Hudson and Jack Lewis.

Ronan Greenwood scored for Cumberworth A in their 6-1 defeat at home to Mount Pleasant. Scorers for Mount Pleasant were Danish Khan, Shaakir Patel, Muhammad Patel, Mohammed Ravat (two) and Husain Rawat.

Cartworth Moor had a high scoring 9-1 win over Britannia Sports A. Josh Armitage was the pick of the bunch scoring four. Carl O’Brien (two), Jonathan Bott, Richard Yates and Zach Ward completed the scoring for Cartworth.

In the Sheffield County FA Saturday Cup, Holmbridge travelled to Athersley Rec Development from the Sheffield County Senior League Division 1 and came away with a fine 1-0 win courtesy of a goal from Sam Pogson.
