Berry Brow won the Huddersfield FA Challenge Cup beating Slaithwaite United 4-0 at the Stafflex Arena on Wednesday.

Niall Dobson gave Berry Brow the first half lead and in the second half Wayne Shooter, Kyle Walton and substitute Thomas Oakes completed the scoring for the Brow. The Man of the Match award went to Wayne Shooter.

In the West Riding County Challenge Cup final Linthwaite were unlucky to lose out in a penalty shoot-out to Leeds UFC Academy from the Yorkshire Amateur League Supreme Division. After 90 minutes it was 1-1 and Leeds went on to win 4-2 on penalties.

Long-time leaders Berry Brow Reserves won the Division 2 title following defeat for their nearest challenger AFC Volunteers. Grange Moor Saints beat them 3-0 with a Cameron Wilkey hat-trick.

The Brow completed their season with a 3-3 draw with Deighton Reserves with goals from Benjamin Lodge (two) and Andrew Roberts.

Grange Moor Saints could pip the Volunteers for the second promotion place if they win their final game of the season at home to Deighton Reserves.

Moorside missed out on promotion from Division 1 when they lost 3-2 at Skelmanthorpe. Jack Woods scored both for Skelmanthorpe taking his tally to 44 for the season.

Skelmanthorpe finished third with the win but lost out on a promotion spot on goal difference to Huddersfield Laund Hill.
