Almondbury Methodist Church Pantomime Group is staging Aladdin – Adventures in the East, by Suzan Holder.

The fun begins at the Wesley Centre, Almondbury Methodist Church on Thursday February 9 and continues on February 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18. Performances are at 7.15pm each evening and 2.15pm for Saturday matinees.

Packed with song, dance, magic and mayhem, Aladdin is the 49th production by Almondbury Methodist Church Pantomime Group, and for the 15th year, when the curtain goes up on Saturday evening, February 11, the proceeds will go to Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Show producer Mike Crowther said: “Aladdin promises to be an enjoyable show for the whole family. We are proud to dedicate the proceeds from Saturday, February 11 to Yorkshire Cancer Research.”

Jane Dutton, chairman of the Huddersfield Volunteer Group at Yorkshire Cancer Research, said: “We are delighted that Almondbury Pantomime Group continues to support Yorkshire Cancer Research. Over the years, the group has raised more than £14,000 to help fund world-leading cancer research in Yorkshire.”
