Photographer Sean Doyle has published his latest 2023 Summer Wine Country calendar – and it’s selling fast.

Landscape and events photographer Sean is passionate about what he does and supports many charities and good causes with his photography.

Sean, who is also Huddersfield Hub’s photographer, takes some stunning images of the countryside and landscape around the Holme Valley.

His latest A4-sized calendar features some brilliant and atmospheric shots of Greenhead Park, Holmfirth, Digley, Thurstonland, Netherthong and more.

We won’t spoil the calendar by publishing the images here but in the gallery below are a few of the amazing shots in Sean’s portfolio.

It’s the third year Sean has published his calendar and they are sold around the world. They proved so popular at a market in Honley last Saturday that he only has a limited supply left.

Sean said: “The calendars have proved more popular than ever and it’s great that people are coming back year after year to buy them and are telling their friends and family too.

“Our part of Yorkshire is stunning and I still can’t believe my images are going all around the world. The calendar makes a great stocking filler for Christmas. Be quick because once they’re gone, they’re gone!”

Sean is a regular at Huddersfield Parkrun in Greenhead Park and was dubbed “Miracle Man” after he survived a double cardiac arrest.

In May 2013 Sean collapsed at the Parkrun event and was given only a 6% chance of survival. The prompt actions of medics on the scene saved his life.

Sean always wanted to be a photographer and received a camera for his 15th birthday. He wrote to Huddersfield Town’s Steve Kindon and a few months later was on the touchline for Town’s game against Bristol Rovers at the old Leeds Road ground, under the expert eye of Huddersfield Examiner photographer Julian Hughes.

Sean gives his time free to charities, local sports clubs and community groups but to cover his voluntary work he is also available to hire on a commercial basis for such as weddings, celebrations, family parties and other occasions.

Calendars cost £12 including UK postage or £20 for overseas postage and can be ordered from Sean’s website Sean Doyle Event & Landscape Photography at www.sjdelphoto.com.
