Film-maker Sam Teale has teamed up with a Huddersfield charity for his inspirational Christmas 2025 advert.
Sam, whose previous Christmas videos have gone viral, is supporting The Give…A Few Words charity which spreads connection, care and belonging through handwritten letters and well-being sessions.
This year’s football-themed film brings together actors Sam Bottomley, of Ackley Bridge fame, Happy Valley star Rhys Connah and Roger Conneff, alongside local people, to tell a story about remembering those we have lost, reaching out and making sure everyone belongs at Christmas.
A story of love, loss and togetherness, the advert is rooted in the experience of losing someone close during the festive period and the importance of community in helping to carry that memory forward.

It celebrates the connections we build, the doors we open and the extra chair we pull up for those who might otherwise feel left out.
The advert features ‘Remember My Name’ by Sam Fender who gave permission for his work to be used.
By partnering with The Give…A Few Words, the campaign aims to direct support to those who need it most while raising awareness around the power of giving, community and memory.
Sam Teale said: “Working with Roger, Sam and Rhys has been a privilege. They bring not only talent but empathy and insight to a story about absence, memory and connection.
“This Christmas advert is our way of saying: if you’re missing someone, you are seen, you are important, and we won’t leave you out.”
Sam’s first Christmas advert ‘The Go-Kart’ in 2022 had over 40 million views across the world.
