Huddersfield law firm Ridley & Hall has announced a raft of partner and associate promotions as it targets £7 million turnover ahead of its centenary year in 2027.
Chloe Aston and Hannah Pedley have been promoted to partners in the firm’s private client team based at its South Elmsall and Barnsley offices respectively, with Laura Sheriff promoted to residential conveyancing associate, based in Huddersfield.
Other promotions include Joanna Helliwell who is promoted to associate in the firm’s costs team, and Jack Robinson who becomes IT and systems associate, and Theresa Ferres who becomes central services associate.
The latest promotions closely follow the announcement in January of Vicky Medd as Ridley & Hall’s first-ever executive partner, a position that managing director, Emma Pearmaine, said at the time “will be crucial in supporting both business strategy and operations as part of our drive to hit £7 million turnover next year.”
Speaking on the latest promotions, Ms Pearmaine said: “This year is a pivotal year of growth for Ridley & Hall as we expand several departments with new hires, strengthen internal systems and workflows and prepare the business for increased demand and new service lines.
“Our latest promotions across private client, conveyancing, IT and costs teams ensures each department has the senior oversight needed to deliver on our strategic plans, grow sustainably and maintain high‑quality service standards.
“Their leadership will directly support the firm’s operational resilience and showcases our commitment to internal development as several of our newly-promoted colleagues progressed from entry‑level roles and three of our new associates were non-lawyers.”
