The Comedy Cellar returns to Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield on Thursday February 19 with another selection of superb stand-up talent.
Headlining the show is Paul F. Taylor, described as “someone who is going to rear a cult following of those with refined senses of humour and you should join us” by The Independent.
He’s a former Hackney Empire Award winner who has starred in Harry Hill’s Clubnite, with his “wickedly funny and astute observational comedy” (GQ).
Opening the night is the “engaging and frequently hilarious” (BBC) Pete Selwood (pictured). He’s a provocative wit from Comedy Central Live, The Emily Atack Show, Smoggie Queens and How To Train Your Dragon.
There are also sets from the observational wit of Russ Cutts, BBC New Comedy Award finalist Shugufta Chowdhry and self-deprecatory local lad Dan King with MC duties from the supremely laconic Anthony J. Brown.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £15, available at the venue box office or via the Lawrence Batley Theatre website HERE.
