National Bike Week runs from June 5-12 and Huddersfield Cycle Touring Club (CTC) – the local branch of Cycling UK – would like to invite you to join them on a ride.

Cyclists are welcome to just turn up and join any of these free rides:

Sunday June 5: This is a ride of less than 40 miles starting at 9.30am from the junction of Kings Mill Lane and Wakefield Road at Aspley Wharf and going to Tankersley, near Barnsley.

Tuesday June 7: This is an evening ride to Cannon Hall starting from the Try Cycling shop in North Road, Kirkburton, at 7pm. This ride will be approximately 20 miles.

Wednesday June 8: Starting from Kings Mill Lane, Aspley, at 10am this 20-mile ride goes to Hipperholme and back.

Sunday June 12: This is an all-day ride starting from Kings Mill Lane going to Keighley and on to Gargrave. This is a 75-mile ride suitable for experienced cyclists.
