Pop along to Tolson Museum for a night of spooky fun – if you dare!
Ravensknowle Children’s Gala is organising rare night-time tours of the museum as Halloween season gets underway.
On Friday October 3 there will be a night of surprises and spooky stories.
With exclusive access to the museum after dark – it might be the last time ever the museum opens at night – visitors will be guided around three specific rooms where ghostly stories will be told.
A spooks-person for the organisers said: “Come along and get involved. You will be shocked, surprised, enchanted and maybe even a little scared by what you will see and hear!
“Everything is not what it seems. Do not take anything for granted and be prepared to let your imagination run wild…”
Tours will start at 6.30pm, 7pm, 7.30pm and 8pm. They will last approximately an hour. Light refreshments will be served afterwards.
Due to limitations within the building the event is not suitable for people with mobility issues.
With no lift to the upper floors the use of wheelchairs and pushchairs is prohibited. The event is not recommended for children under six years old.
