Former Huddersfield Town commercial director Sean Jarvis has joined Honley-based principal contractor Majestic Construction as a non-executive director.

Mr Jarvis brings over two decades of experience in leadership roles for large sporting organisations, latterly chief executive officer of Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

The appointment comes at an exciting time for the business, which has experienced significant growth over the past 18 months, alongside a rebrand, new website and expansion into larger principal contractor and construction delivery projects across the UK.

Majestic Construction specialises in principal contract work across various industries, from retail and sport to logistics and property.

The firm has recently delivered some high-profile projects within the sports sector spanning Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Gloucester and beyond.

In his new position, Mr Jarvis will work alongside owner and operator, Lee Marsden, to provide strategic guidance, commercial insight and leadership support as the business enters its next phase of growth and development.
