The Comedy Cellar at Lawrence Batley Theatre in Huddersfield returns on Thursday May 30 with yet another hilarious mix of stand-up talent.

Headlining the show is Daliso Chaponda, fresh from his debut appearance on ‘Have I Got News For You?’ earlier this month.

Daliso is a former Britain’s Got Talent runner up, garnering over eight million Facebook views, nine million on YouTube and star of his own critically acclaimed BBC Radio 4 series Daliso Chaponda: Citizen of Nowhere.

He has also appeared on QI, The Royal Variety Performance, Pointless Celebrities, The World Stands Up and Just For Laughs. Quite the busy bee!

Opening the night is the brilliantly inventive Adele Cliff. Nominated for a Leicester Comedy award, shortlisted for an Amused Moose award and two-time Pegasus Comedy Award winner, she is also a former UK Pun Champion with her finely honed and utterly memorable word play.

Also appearing is Natalie Durkin, a bubbly, anecdote-driven act from The John Bishop Show alongside the cleaver sharp wit of Eddy Midgely. Compering the show is Metro Award winner Anthony J. Brown.

The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £14, available via the box office on 01484 430528 or online HERE.
