Kirklees College is hosting its latest Open Day for prospective students at its centres in Huddersfield and Dewsbury.
The college, which celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2025, has shaped countless lives and every year supports more than 13,000 learners to achieve their ambitions.
The open days are held on February 7 2026 and visitors will see how the college mission – ‘Creating Opportunities, Changing Lives’ – is more than just a statement, it’s seen in every element of college life.
A college spokesman said: “Visitors attending the Open Day on February 7 can see for themselves how investment in the college’s facilities keeps learning current and relevant.
“There is a belief that students deserve the highest standard of education, and state-of-the art-facilities help to create the best environment to deliver engaging education and training.
“Students of all ages benefit from industry-standard equipment, digital technologies and specialist spaces designed to replicate real-world workplaces, giving them the confidence and competence to succeed in their chosen fields.
The Open Day also provides visitors with the opportunity to speak with tutors to find out more about specific courses and modes of study.
