Huddersfield Giants are counting down to one of the biggest announcements in the club’s history with an open training session for fans.
The Giants will make a landmark announcement at the club’s home game against Catalans on Saturday (August 8). Fans will hear from club owner Ken Davy at half-time. The match kicks off at 2pm.
Following back-to-back Super League victories, the Giants will host an open training session for fans on Tuesday (August 4) from 10am at the club’s Laund Hill training complex.
Head coach Jim Lenihan will put the players through their paces and afterwards supporters will be able to meet players and officials, and get photos and autographs. The clubhouse will be open for food and drink.
To ensure all Giants fans can be at the Catalans game for the announcement, admission is free for everyone.
The Giants have already announced they will leave the Accu Stadium at the end of the 2026 season and there has been speculation over a temporary home. The Giants have always said they want a purpose-built new stadium in Huddersfield.
