A love of crisps could be the start of something special at Single Pringle fun dating event

The dating scene is tough but if you want to meet that special person, forget the apps and embrace the snacks!

The Single Pringle dating event at The County Beerhouse in Huddersfield town centre on Sunday October 4 is a fringe event of the Huddersfield International Crisp Festival, taking place at The Sportsman – The County’s sister pub – from October 4-11.

It’s hard to find like-minded people on the dating scene but a love of crisps could be the start of something special.

Share six varieties of crisps with fellow singletons for a fun and informal evening – and it could leave you all of a Quaver!

Amber Duffee, manager at The County, said: “We like to do things that are a bit different here at The County and while The Sportsman hosts a variety of crisp events, our fringe festival celebrates the bigger snack landscape.

“We decided to take the term ‘single Pringle’ literally and combine two of our big passions – pub snacks and love!

“It will be a fun, relaxed evening where our snack-loving singles will share crisps, paired with expertly chosen drinks.

“Everyone can talk endlessly about their favourite pub snacks so we’re confident there’ll be no shortage of conversation.”

This event is aimed at people looking to meet someone of the opposite sex.

Women can sign up here and men can sign up here. Tickets cost £22.38 and include six varieties of crisps and their accompanying drinks.

The County will be running a rainbow Single Pringle night for people of all orientations and identities later in the year.
