A Jordan Saville hat-trick saw Holmbridge defeat Deighton 4-0 with Adam Smalley completing the scoring for the Bridge. The defeat saw Deighton slip to fourth place in the Huddersfield District League Premier Division.
Linthwaite Athletic move up to third place winning their eighth league game to maintain their 100% record beating Netherton 4-1. Nathan Wadsworth (two), Ryan Wadsworth and Jake Morley scored for Linfit with Adam Robertshaw scoring a consolation for Netherton.
AFC Lindley with goals from Luke Gilman, Thomas White and Jake Sykes beat Slaithwaite United 3-1 with Ben Boulton scoring for Slawit.
In Division 1 Jack Woods, the league’s leading scorer, hit four as Skelmanthorpe beat Holme Valley Academicals 5-2 with Tom Roberts completing the scoring for Shat. Chris Lokey and Sam Binns scored for the Accies.
AFC Volunteers moved 12 points clear at the top of Division 2 with a 3-1 win over Deighton Reserves with goals from Connor Durkin, Sam Durkin and Michael Feterlich. Ashley Hyde scored for Deighton.
Jack Holroyd scored a late winner for Wooldale Wanderers as they beat Cumberworth 2-1 with Ryan Smith also scoring. Jack Byrne scored for Cumberworth.
Linthwaite Athletic Reserves drew with Grange Moor Saints 2-2 with goals from Chris Blakely and Joshua Kilburn. Jacob Bentley and Cameron Wilkey scored for the Saints.
In Division 3 Heywood Irish Centre moved up to fourth place with a narrow 3-2 over Holmfirth Town with goals from Carlton Balmer, Cameron Taylor and Richie Evans. Ali Nuri and Chris Valentine scored for Holmfirth.
Kirkheaton Rovers Reserves are four points clear at the top of Division 4 following their 5-3 win over Cumberworth Reserves with goals from Waqaar Uddin (two), Levi Brown, Rob Holroyd and Michael Calvert.
In Division 5, Allerton are in second place following their 8-2 win over Fenton United. Umais Khan scored four with other goals from Manny Hussain, Mohammed Addas and Sahil Mehmood (two). Richard Alderson and Robert Caselton scored as Skelmanthorpe A beat Mount Reserves 2-0.
In the Groom Cup Berry Brow Reserves beat Holmbridge Reserves 5-1 with goals from Liam Walton, Dean Siddiq (two), Jamal Bent and Luke McLoughlin.
