The Huddersfield Giants Supporters’ Association welcome Jermaine McGillvary to Laund Hill community sports complex when the legendary Huddersfield Giants and England winger is the guest speaker for November.
After leaving the Giants after 16 memorable years and saying goodbye to the fans after his last Huddersfield game – an 8-20 defeat to Warrington Wolves, ‘Jerry’ – as he is affectionately known – will be along to meet the fans again and take part in a Q&A with the HGSA events manager Darren Eastwood.
Jerry’s career has so far spanned 16 years, over 350 appearances, 250 tries and 23 international call ups. Seventeen of those internationals were for the full England side in which he became a genuine star of the game following the 2017 World Cup in Australia.
The evening is on Wednesday November 1 in the upstairs lounge at the former YMCA sports club at Salendine Nook starting at 7.30pm.
The event is free for 2023 HGSA members. Non-members are also welcome but are asked to donate a minimum of £1 or they can sign up to join the HGSA for just £6 for the whole of 2024!
