Emley AFC under 18s won their first ever competitive game convincingly, beating Staveley Miners Welfare 14-1 on Wednesday night in the FA Youth Cup.
The outstanding display was one of total dominance. Of the 14 goals, nine came from just two players – Keelan Grist who bagged five, and Kobe Mulvihill-Simpson (four). Both worked with Emley under-23 boss Sam Sutton when all three were at Barnsley.
Kobe is being watched by Huddersfield Town and if he keeps performing and scoring like he is the Pewits might find it difficult to hold on to him.
