The Mayor of West Yorkshire Tracy Brabin is holding a public question time event at the University of Huddersfield.
It’s the latest in a series of events launched earlier this year where people can ask about anything that falls under the Mayor’s remit including transport, housing, climate, skills and economic growth.
Mayor Brabin will visit the University of Huddersfield on Thursday November 28 and Alison Lowe OBE, West Yorkshire’s Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, will also be there to answer any questions about policing and crime.
Mayor Brabin said: “Having the opportunity to meet your elected leaders, ask them questions and hold them to account, is vital for our democracy.
“Hearing directly from the people I represent at these events will help us deliver on our shared mission to build a brighter West Yorkshire that works for all.”
The event will be hosted by journalist Fatima Patel who said: “For our communities to truly thrive and excel, we must embrace open, transparent and fearless conversations that pave the way for real change.”
